Many reviewers state the nuts are wrong and won't go on the bolts. Actually, that's exactly the way it is designed. The nuts DO fit the bolts but they have to be tightened with a proper wrench - the one supplied is a joke. When the nut stops after finger tightening, get out the wrench. These nuts are designed this way to ensure the parts don't move once tightened. It takes a little elbow grease and a bit more time but the result is worth it. This is a very sturdy and comfortable chair. And it looks great too. Well worth the money.I like the chair and the cushions are nice. The company send me the wrong nuts to tighten the screws with.I had to go to the hardware store to buy the correct ones. Other than that, its fine.I do love this chair quite a bit. It would be perfect except for a few issues. The back is extremely low, if you don't use the foot rest it's not as comfortable. Also, it was exceptionally hard to put together. The pieces are nuts and location of bolts and very hard to etbssrbbbbhxhhxhc#Came with in a week, much earlier than expected. Just like photo, very comfortable and sturdy. I am so happy I got it, been searching for the right pieces for my deck. Very satisfied with my purchase. A must buy!!!To the customers:This is not a real wicker material but plastic weave. FYI. And as for the screws: the big thing with everyone, it was not in the instructions to pile up all the o-rings to fill the loose space when you screw the CHAIR. SO FYI... important! The end screw end will only twist a couple of rounds and is dead at the edge of the long screw, but you must add 5 to 6 o-rings to fill the space. Get it? lol...To the seller:Please get us different color like black, grey, camel or brown, beige neutral kind of colors. Thank you so much for being responsive to my request of screws. A suggestion is that you can cut the long screw like 1/2 cm but make sure that after you cut, it fits the end screw. We still need to pile the O_RINGS to fit well.Overall: the chair and ottoman is great for the price. It is comfortable and is good for big butt people. Note that the cushion is thicker in height than for the cushion for the ottoman. I do recommend, it is easy to fix but after you read this, everyone should be able to know how to put it together easily.Directions are terrible. Nice value. But thought the leg part would store easily under the chair if not in useIt took me about 1 1/2 hours to assemble, but some of that time was hunting around my tool box for ways to make it easier. I strongly recommend a decent wrench, and a ratcheting screwdriver and a ratchet that holds the bit at a 90 degree angle (don't know what that is called?) that will hold a bit of same size as the included allen wrench, or you'll be at it for hours. It does take time to get everything tightened, as you have to go through them all a few times because tightening a couple screws causes another one or two to then be loose, but it comes together after 2-3 go rounds. Beware that two of the chair screws are a little tough to reach, with little room to work, so there you need that tiny wrench they give you.Now it's all together it looks great, cushions a little on the firm side but quite nice!Giving the set a 4 rating rather than 5 because cushions are not Sunbrella type fabric, so I will have to take them inside to prevent fading AND the "feet" are a shiny cheap looking silver plastic that looks a little odd. Once it was assembled, not so noticeable, but not sure how long they'll stay intact. It showed 2 chairs when I ordered it which was misleading. The price includes 1 chair and 1 ottoman. Good quality though
