These were EXACTLY what I was looking for in my transitional house! They were so easy to assemble, I did all four by myself in under twenty minutes. Seriously it takes just four screws to put one of these together. I was a bit worried about the transit with such a shiny chrome finish, but they were wrapped and packaged so extremely well there wasn't a single scratch or dent on any of the barstools I put together. The leather is super soft and neutral (no red or orange undertones, which is hard to find). They seem overall pretty sturdy, but can tip a bit on the highest setting, which is really high and I don't forsee us using. Absolutely stunning! Amazing value for the price! 10/10 would recommend.Assembly is a snap! Stools are height adjustable and ever so comfortable to sit on. By far the best affordable barstools ever.Easy to assemble and they look great. Comfortable tooThese look really good after its been assembled and big and roomy. I opted for no arm rests basically because I wasn't sure how big these chairs are and if I would fit in them since I'm fat. Sits comfortably for all sizes of men as long you are not morbidly obese. It is also quite comfy and cushy and a big upgrade for me since I was sitting on a wooden stool before I got this chair. Bii-ggg upgrade!Assembly is actually quite painless because you basically just have to put the metal rod in the stand and it's good. No screws here. There are 4 screws for connecting the seat to its metal base so the rod can be inserted but this is easy as they provide you with an Allen wrench for this job.The important thing to remember is to remove the plastic cap off the metal rod which is a pump that allows you to adjust the height of the seat. I forgot to do this and it was painful to remove the cap later especially if you already inserted the seat onto the rod and sat on the chair. Now that plastic cap is stuck in the base of the chair. So I have to remove the seat off its base which means unscrewing the 4 screws and then hammering the cap down from inside the base. Lucky for me, I just purchased a brand new hammer and punch set which made the job a lot easier! Without these tools, it would have been impossible to remove this cap since it took a lot of hammering before the cap finally let loose. IMO, an awful design to have the cap be able to fit inside the base slot. Had they made the cap bigger, all of this would have been avoided. Basically the cap serves no purpose but to protect the inside of the pump but with the cap on, the lever cannot hit the pump to adjust the chair.I cannot say too much about the quality since I just bought it but be warned this is made in China. I basically decided to buy anyway because I wanted something cheap and I know I won't be using it all that much. But I feel this is no different from buying from Ikea. As long you know you won't use it often, it's not a bad deal. However, if you feel you will use often and like something that is built to last, it is obvious you need to pay more and buy elsewhere. The stools look amazing and were very easy to put together! I’ve had them for a couple of months now and have gotten many compliments on them. However, one of my stools keeps detaching from the bottom when I pick it up, which gets very annoying any time that I need to pull it out to use it. I constantly have to stop and slide the pole back into the base unless I just pick up the chair from the bottom - which also gets very annoying. Also, if you have the taller bar-height stools, they’re challenging to get onto because the small circular bottoms don’t provide a lot of support at all. You have to be very careful not to tip the entire stool over when you’re boosting yourself up to sit in the chair. And when you are up there, the stool still doesn’t feel the most secure and you have to be careful not to lean your weight over too much to one side. I will say that because of these things I’ve just listed, I’ve found that I prefer not to even use the stools at all and try to avoid them, making me regret that I didn’t find a barstool with 4 legs instead.I have been using the most rickety of stools behind the counter at my hat shop. The braces would perpetually loosen and the fabric was tearing, and it just looked all around raggedy, so it was time for a new chair. I saw this set of two matching chairs with leather seats at what I consider a really good price, so I ordered them and hoped for the best.Well I was not disappointed. It took my husband about five minutes to put the chairs together. There was very little work involved, and I'm sure I could have done it myself, but I prefer to let him do it because that way, if something goes wrong, I can blame him. Plus he has all of the tools hidden from me. Anyway, he brought me out a chair and wow. Nice looking chair! The adjuster is really good on this chair and it pretty much stays where I put it. Every so often I do find myself sitting a little bit lower than I'd started out, but not a big deal. The seat is comfortable. And the chair itself is lightweight enough so that I can move it out of the way to get under the counter. I like the shiny base even though it is a dust attractant. These are all around good looking chairs. The chair does tend to make me feel as if I'm being pushed forward. To counteract that, when my husband put the second chair together, he added a piece of metal to try to get the seat to lean back more. This made no noticeable difference to me, and I still feel as if I'm being cast forward a bit. Sitting behind my counter, though, it doesn't really bother me. I think if I didn't have the counter to lean on, it might bother me, but it's fine. The material on my chair has a couple of imperfections, but nothing really noticeable. Overall I am very happy with my new chair, and my husband is happy that there were two, and that the price was right. I would recommend these. They are good looking and comfortable.I ordered 4 of these chairs (two sets of two) By the end of 3 months all of the plastic "bearings" that separate the metal of the stand from the metal of the chair piece keep falling out after being sat in for 30 or so minutes. This causes the chairs to wobble and the metal to grind against itself. This both feels bad and marks up the metal. I attached pictures showing a close up and a picture of all 4 chairs. Amazon care was great, but I could not contact the actual company itself. I attempted to contact the company and there "contact us" link leads to nothing. I would not trust this company.Easy to build, tested on 100 to 200 pounds. Only reason for not being a 5/5 is because I am quite picky and this does not look as good as I thought it would. However, the comfort is 8/10 and I was surprised.Does not feel like it's tilting or unstable like others have said. There are a lot of these type of chairs floating around and some are $50 cheaper for the pair but I was much more comfortable buying it on here. Who knows, maybe the cheaper ones are made poorly. Recuerda quitar el tapón negro que viene en el brazo de extensiónRoundhill Swivel Black Leather Adjustable Hydraulic Bar Stool, Set of 2One chair was great the second one is broken - I can’t get a hold of anyone at the company it’s all over fax or email and these chairs are definitely not worth that hassle, I am returning to Amazon and what will you know I can’t fit the chair back into the same box for a return to Amazon because the base of one chair won’t come apart ?
