Nice size for small spaceThe item was well packed no visible damage on box which is why I didn't check for damaged items before assembly "my mistake" when putting on the back piece of the file drawer I noticed three holes filled with wood glue where one of the predrilled holes is located for a wood screw to attach to side panel, apparently it split during manufacturing, well there fix didn't work it split anyway when trying to screw it into side panel. I was able to fix it myself rather then return it. If your not use to assembling these types of items be prepared to be frustrated most instructions from "made in China" are like trying to solve a riddle, if you have put these thing together before it gets easier other wise take your time make sure people offended by curse words are out of earshot. This filing cabinet is exactly what I needed. Works great and looks great in my home office. There are a lot of pieces to this little cabinet. If you lack patience this is not a task for you. I found it very helpful to lay out all the pieces in alphabetical order first. Leave all the screws in its package so that you use the correct screw/part as you follow the instructions. It took me 2hrs one evening plus 2hrs day 2. I am very pleased with the final product!I purchased this filing cabinet to fit under my home office desk. It has plenty of space for being small. Fit perfectly under my desk. Easy to maneuver if I need to move it.Product was fairly easy to put together, however the finished product is not sturdy. The drawers are not easily open, does not hold the weight for files, and wheels don't function as they should. The look is stylish, if you plan just to have for esthetics, but for function use don't buy. If it wasn't already put together I would definitely returnI built the entire thing, took me 2 hours, then realized the drawer hardware was on wrong (the instructions don't detail that part well). Spent another hour trying to correct it so it worked. The finish, just like the desk that matches, has poor finish. Walmart like quality for more moneyI am a former furniture builder so I have some background on how to put things together. There are a million parts with this item and by myself it was a 2+ hour ordeal. Directions were pretty clear, through. It would be much easier if Bush would ship these with the drawer rails already installed on the respective panels. Even if this would mean the item costs a few dollars more, I think it would be well worth it and there would be less complaints/returns. As others have stated, there are a few configurations to put the drawer rails on and if you line them up incorrectly, or don't very carefully follow the directions, the drawers won't close completely or they won't work at all. Overall, and once assembled (correctly), it's a nice inexpensive piece.
