We've had the King sized gray blanket for a year and a half now and I've been impressed with it's ability to perform and the way it has held up. We originally purchased it to cover our bed when we had gotten a new puppy and after adopting a second puppy, it had definitely seen it's fair share of piddle puddles. Nothing ever seeped through, our bedding was protected and it was easily washed and dried.Since the pups have grown, it's found many other uses. It's great for picnics, outdoor concerts, camping, etc. We've used it at an outdoor concert after a hard rain and all of our friends had room and it kept our bums dry. It has been washed and dried numerous times and has held up like new. I dry it on low when I have the time or medium when I don't. It does take a while to get it fully dry, nothing a couple of cycles in the dryer can't fix. Well worth the money in my opinion.Very soft! MADE IN THE US!! Getting ready to order another one! This blanket is so well made. It's heavy, but that's ok because it's so durable. I have washed them several times and they come out great each time. We have 3 of these now and I just ordered 2 more. We have 2 puppies, so I cover my sofas with them to be sure the puppies don't ruin our sofas. We also use them in our car when we're transporting the puppies. Of course, when guests come, I take the blankets off the sofas. I can see if you're a camper how these blankets would be God sent. They are truly water proof!! Not just water resistant, but water proof. Nothing goes through them. You will not be sorry if you purchase this blanket. AND, it's made in the USA!!!Very good quality. But very heavy. It’s to heavy to adjust every day. So I am not using it.We bought some furniture that took a few months to get here (not from Amazon)...and during those months we thought...we need to protect this investment. We have pets! This is why our couch was so old...so old that it was finally time. We have not found the right protection against our pets. Plus, our old couch jutted out such that it obscured the view of our new fireplace. We couldn't have that! We also couldn't afford a new couch if this one died for a while either. So...we finally found our way to these...after pouring over many reviews in many places. These are just as the reviews said; very soft, very good quality...attractive and also very heavy and not a thrill to wash/dry, but they wash. We bought 3 sizes, the "king" ($189), 2 "loveseats" ($119) and "the recliner " ($69). As we were buying them we realized we could have gotten another small couch with the money...so we wanted to get as much out of it as possible and got the cappuccino/chocolate because it allowed for more versatility. The price is not wonderful, but the look, the quality, the feel and that it is waterproof (already proven) is beyond useful and wonderful. I haven't found anything yet that is better than this on this size scale [see March update] through the years, and not just months of searching reviews for yet another new alternative. Of course, this is NOT the cheap alternative. If I had only 1 thing to change it would be the width more than the price as we need it to cover the entirety of the couch, but ultimately we managed to get it to work with an added cover. Now...if the price were lower...maybe that's what I'd change. I'd have 1 for our bed in a heartbeat. Ultimately, it's still so far worth it -- a solid investment.Update (January 2018): We still use these and it has been a few years now. They last, they still look good and we don't regret buying them at all. That said, for practical washing purposes (when nobody is expected over) we tend to use pads on top of them that we find very useful for more frequent needs (Reusable / Washable waterproof bed pad 35 x 80). But for appearance and quality, as well as function, we still love these covers. They still protect the investment! Just...I hope some day we will see our actual couch again. :{Update (March 2018): I have noticed, embarrassingly, that the lighter side picks up and shows dog hair a lot more than I ever realized--the camera reveals alI! Usually we have the other side displaying so it isn't as noticeable and it is in that romantic darker corner there (points--->). We moved some pieces to the basement to protect them due to a pipe freezing incident and threw the other side on and shooting some pictures of some dogs in the darkness...there it was! Having said that, I found Mambe has a silky soft version, which I don't remember finding before! "SILKY FLEECE is LUXURIOUSLY SOFT to the touch and is available in LargeLong/Sofa 60' x120" Large 60" x 84", Medium 60" x 60" and Small (2-pack) 30" x 36." Because of all our animals I often gravitate to faux fur throws, as they are cozy, look great, hide a lot, yet easy to clean and everyone loves it. So even though this is flatter than the average faux...it has the same idea and that is very, very nice!P.S. I see they cost a little less now (at least at this moment, the king especially is going for $118).We ordered one of these to cover a bed due to a pet with incontinence issues and frequent vomiting. It worked fabulously and we didn’t think anything about it. In the last month, another pet got sick and we put the pad on the floor to protect the floor and area rug. Ended up buying two more (all 90”x90”) so we could switch them out when needed. They wash up well and are dryer friendly. Would buy them again in a second if needed.Got this for my puppy just in case he had an accident on the couch, but I find me and my friends have made more use of it than him! Spilled some red wine on it and while it LOOKED like it had absorbed into the fabric, once I grabbed a towel to soak up the rest, (under a minute) it ALL came out. No stain. Not wet. Not damp. The top and under side were COMPLETELY DRY. 10/10 would recommend. Bought two for my sectional. Of course they don’t stay in place perfectly but I find myself and my 60 lb dog use the couch enough to warrant readjusting them on the couch a couple times a week.I did a lot of research before spending this much money on a waterproof blanket; we have 5 indoor cats and one has recently fancied himself as an interior designer, telling us (with liquid) what items of furniture and soft furnishings he doesn't like. We got sick of repeatedly sending duvets and cushions to the dry cleaners, spraying everything down with enzyme cleaner, only for it to happen again. We've also been incredibly disappointed with other "waterproof" offerings on the market; they're not "proof", more like "resistant".As soon as we purchased this king-sized Mambe waterproof blanket, the unwelcome eliminations appear to have stopped. Just the way isn't it? The cats absolutely love the feel of the fibres on their paws, snoozing on it immediately. It also doesn't get hooked into their claws, so there's no threads to pull. It's heavily weighted and warm, and is great to snuggle up with ourselves!Given the recent good behaviour, we've decided we can finally invest a new sofa, so we've ordered another Mambe blanket. We'll be taking the one on our bed, covered in their own scent, downstairs when the sofa arrives. Fingers crossed and thanks Mambe!!!This is perfect against piddling cats.We use them to protect furniture from errant cat urineExactly as described
