I used the maple crayon with the oak marker on top for my floors and you can hardly tell there was ever a scratch. In the photos are 3 before and after pictures, where you can clearly see the results. If you had a black piece of furniture it would probably occur to you to touch it up with a black indelible marker, but not all furniture is black. What about all the other shades? Look no further than this kit which contains a set of wood toned markers! I bought a 1920's dresser which was not fine furniture the day it left the factory, and now is 100-year old not-fine-furniture the day it left the factory: I didn't expect miracles, but at least it looks like somebody tried to take care of it now: a big improvement. Technically it's an antique.I was not able to find a use for the crayons: perhaps I should have read the instructions.I have this expensive table that was obviously crap because the paint chipped so easily. I was about to sell but wanted to see if I could salvage it so I bought these. When I opened it up to see a marker I was like oh man, this isn’t gonna work, but I tried it any way and wow I’m amazed! Looks brand new! It does help that my table is full of dark and light grey, so if the color is a bit off it fits into the design. But yes this product is great!This kit includes every wood tone anyone will ever need. I refurnished wall of pine shiplap. After treating it with linseed oil, there was a beautiful golden tone of various hues. Plus there were many filled nail holes which were extremely light. With this kit, I was able to even the various times across each panel of wood. And now there are no noticeable spots or streams, all because of the multiple wood tones included in this kit. It is the best!!!Great product. Rapid shipment.Takes a little while to learn the best way to use these pens but in the end they allowed an almost undetectable repair of several chips in dark kitchen cupboard surfaces.The actual colour match was walnut but only the black pens really hid the damage. The crayon would not stick to the chip initially but taking shavings from the crayon and applying these with a warmed spatula completely filled the gap. The pens did the rest.After a polish what were quite deep chips in a dark surface are now pretty much undetectableI was a bit sceptical that these things would actually work for the scratches and chips on my laminate wooden floor, but they sure surprised me. I was so fed up of having so many scratches on my floor from the kids over the years and after using these markers I can't even notice them when I walk into the room now, I can finally walk into the room and not feel bothered by scratches on the floor.I was really happy to buy this and try to solve some of my floor scratches. I think they work well but the colours are not as promised. My floor is oak and on the marker it looks exact but when you apply it it's such a dark shade!!! This is similar for all light colours. The dark shades are ok. But I now need to buy a new set which will hopefully match. So, I wouldn't recommend this product!You can mix colours to get a good match of the colours you need , but the varied colours should cover most wood and furniture, brilliant productUnfortunately these repair pens were not very good. I tried to 'blend' to existing wood veneer but they were not very good and the actually made the area look worse. I had to return these items as they were not suitable for the job they were purchased for.
